Berikut ialah copy and paste dari email yang diterima oleh Presiden PeKOMIK dari Ms. Irm. Mei dari PMG Intergrated Communications Sdn. Bhd. Dari emel beliau, dapatlah disimpulkan bahawa beliau bagi pihak PMC Intergrated mahu menjalinkan kerjasama PeKOMIK sewaktu Comic Fiesta 2008 berlangsung. Oleh yang demikian, PeKOMIK dipelawa untuk menghasilkan artwork untuk Coffee Table. It has been nice talking to you.
First and foremost, please allow me to re-introduce myself again via email. I am Im Mei from PMG Integrated Communications Sdn Bhd, Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) marketing agency acting on behalf of HP and AMD in managing the above mentioned initiative.
In conjunction with HP and AMD’s participation in this year’s Comic Fiesta event (http://comicfiesta.org/), an idea is drafted to publish an exclusive coffee table booklet to be sold during the event to generate funds which will be channelled to charitable organizations such as World Vision. This booklet will be a compilation of different illustration pieces contributed by both local & foreign anime artists.
Each artist whose artwork is published in the booklet will receive a small token of appreciation from HP and AMD for their contribution and exceptional effort. The contributing artist will also have his/her name credited to the works.
Details for the artwork submission are as follows:
- Theme: Envision how technology solutions (this could include building automation, home automation, transportation, etc) will evolve in future
- The featured solution/equipment is to have both HP & AMD branding on it (PMG will send over the latest logo for both HP & AMD to respondents who confirmed that they will be submitting their artwork)
- Size: Since it is for publishing, A4/300dpi submissions would be sufficient
Here are some crucial timeline we looking at in order to publish the coffee table booklet in time:
- PMG would need to know confirmation of participation by 28th November 2008 (Friday)
- Completed artwork needs to be submitted to PMG by 5th December 2008 (Friday)
