Cerita Rakyat Malaysia Workshop (28 July 2007)  

In conjunction with the Visit Malaysia Year 2007, MSC Malaysia is proud to announce that we are organizing a creative competition based on the Cerita Rakyat Malaysia (Malaysian Folklore). The competition will focus on the character designs of the Cerita Rakyat Malaysia; Mahsuri, Puteri Santubong, Pak Pandir, Si Luncai and many more.

Being held for the first time, there will be a talk given on the 28^th July 2007 at The Hilton, Kuala Lumpur to elaborate more on what this competition is about. We’ll be inviting well known personalities such as Mr. Aripin Said, a veteran writer and researcher about Malaysian Folklore; Mr. Jaafar Taib, a well known local artist and Mr. Soo Jun Ning, art director for SALADIN, the animated series.
